He did actually say pre match on Saturday ' Maybe longer '

I didn't realise that he'd said that pre match. That's good to know, as he is a magnificent coach with a great rugby league brain and man management skills, you only have to listen to players that have been coached by him to realise that. As I said earlier, I'd be amazed if the club didn't offer him a long contract which i'm equaly sure he'd love to sign if the conditions and circumstances are right and mutually agreeable.

I'll be amazed if he isn't given a long contract at the end of the season, especially if he keeps us up. He's a top coach who I believe would offer the club its best chance of really moving forward. We can't keep on moving sideways or even backwards in some respects. We really have to appoint someone with real credentials, who is relatively young and has coached in the English game for several years in my view.

If he keeps us up, then i’d hope we’d offer him a deal. From his interviews, i’d be hopeful of him accepting it too.

Just have to wait and see for now. :)

Its interesting that he's made 3 loan signing in just a couple of days, was Sheens hands tied when it came to loans i wonder.
Shows to me that he not only knows whats needed but that he still has the contacts to get these deals done quickly too.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. If we can win at least 50% of our remaining games then yes, look to extend.

Because it was a genuine question? + I'm sure you get plenty of FC fans on here asking questions just to troll.

Thats's fair comment, but at the moment you have to go by the fact that Tony Smith has only been here a couple of weeks and already there's a noticeable difference to the way we play and attitude. The players he's brought in on loan will also, I believe make a difference.

If you watch Livetts interview on Hullkr.tv he stated that he was meant to initially sign a loan deal two weeks ago. That puts him into Sheen's tenure does it not?

Not necessarily......Im sure the Clubs top men knew Sheens was on his way over two weeks ago and Obviously had spoken with Smith well before.
