GB All Stars v HFH Masters Charity Game : Mon Feb 21, 2011 7:44 pm
Saturday 14th May 2011, Wilmere Lane, WidnesRaising funds for - Life for A Kid Foundation (Alex Appeal) and the HFH Masters.
The Un-beaten Great Britain Rugby League All Stars captained by Paul Newlove and featuring such players as Andy Gregory, Hugh Waddell, Mike Wainright, Gary Connolly, Steve Hampson, Anthony Sullivan to name a few will take on the Halton Farnworth Hornets Masters Select to raise money for a 3 Year Old Wigan Boy called Alex Hickey, who's family need £40,000 to take him to the USA for a life changing procedure and therapy.
Alex suffers from a condition called Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy and with help his family can take him to Missouri for specialist treatment.
The Game will be Two handed Touch and Pass and be played over 3 x 20 mins with the main Official being Colin Morris.
We are also holding a Fundraising Dinner the night before the game with guest Speaker Andy Gregory to raise additional funds.
Open to all Masters Players
Each player who comes forward to play for the Masters Select side will be asked to raise a minimum of £150 to play in the game, each player will get a full fundraising pack and support to help raise the funds, from experience some players will raise £150 some may go over £300.
