Leyland Warriors 14-18 Bamber Bridge
Pilkington Recs A 18-0 Blackpool Stanley (walk over)
Rochdale Mayfield 14-28 Eccles & Salford
New Springs 20-16 Higginshaw

Game of two halves ours. Went 16-0 up at half-time and in control, score went to 20-6 early in the second half but Higginshaw had a real dig from that point on and were on top for the rest of the game but we held them out, great effort with 3 injuries during the game and a sin-bin that lasted over 15 minutes!

Heard after the game that a couple of their forwards are signing for a professional club this week? Fair play if true.

i cant believe that. if anythingthen maybe some of ure pack should be signed up. ure pack compared to thiers is superior

I didn't hear it myself it's just what some of the lads have told me they heard in the club after the game. That Caddy who plays prop for them is a top player, think he has been MOM against us in both games and it wouldn't surprise me to see him play at a higher level.

yeah maybe at a higher level in our leagues but no higher than that imo.

New Springs 18-0 Cadishead

Walk over game, they called last night saying they weren't making the trip. They dusted us at their place and have been going well so a very strange one, disappointing aswell as we owed them one!

So a few of our lads went to the Eccles v Irlam game, apparently the result was Eccles 36-28 Irlam which is massive for us if true.

Any more results?

Gave us a decent game but the win was never in doubt really. Credit to Leyland for having 4 under 17s players as well, they all held there own. We just had too much for them all over the park really.

Eccles apparently played an ineligible player in their game wi irlam, so if found guilty the points go 2 irlam
