“I’ve been with Salford right through my professional career and the club runs right through every vein in my body. All Hail Malcolm Alker- Salford Legend 1997-2010
Just checked our pitch, the pitch itself is perfect considering all the rain we had last night.
Roll on 2 o'clock.
We were very poor today, by far our worst perfomance of the season but every credit to burtonwood they deserved there win, I have to say the referee was one of the worst I have ever come across in my 23 years of playing rugby, but he was bad for both sides so no excuses from us, we just didn't turn up!!! Good luck for the rest of the season mate and see you at ours at the end of season where hopefully you will get a better game from us!!!
Pretty much as predicted bar the Ulverston Game, which i bet was a cracker.
Most satisfying point we have earned this season. Turned up at club to get the coach up to cumbria and we had 11 lads. we lost 4 to the 1st team, 3 to work commitments and another 3 who couldnt be bothered. so the coaching staff (me included) had to put the boots on for the 1st time in 3 years and on the bench we had an under 18 and a our stat man. it was a long afternoon but imagine our delight when we scored in last minute to snatch a draw with a scratch team. lets just say is was a good journey home
defo my last ever game as i was sick in my mouth after just 5 minutes and i feel like iv been hit by a bus.

Fair play to Pilks, that is a great effort especially with the circumstances mentioned, not an easy place to go to by all accounts, same with Hindpool
good win for our boys , i belive a couple of our second teamers got a game to which makes the win even better. bet the trip home is a good one (gutted i had to work)
