Its not quite the final league table. New Springs have yet to play Wild Boars as they wrongly awarded the win to New Springs thinking it was an 18-0. Come on u Boars!!!

certainly does. and if new springs lose they wont even get promoted which is a shame really cos they r a good side and play some nice rugby. im sure a few of us from city road will be making r way up to watch.

doesn't quite sit right if they gave you the game though does it, should be a play off between you and pilks to decide the league.

we aint too happy tbh as we aint been given any walkovers in the league and new springs have had a few. but i suppose thats the nature of div 5 rugby. dont suppose those at irlam will be too pleased either cos they could have clinched promotion had wild boars won. it just makes a farce to the end of a good season.

I agree with everything that has been said, yes its not the best way to win it! and i do have sympathy for those at irlam as they are a great team, even though i feel that all top 3 teams will go up! I agree with the walkovers but have to say that is something out of our control, about 5 times we were stripped and ready to play and then would receieve a phone call to say the team wernt coming!

i wasnt criticising ur club mate, ur a good side who deserves to go up. im criticising all the teams that give games, its one of my pet hates. we played cuthies 1st team away instead of the 2nds then the week after they gave u the game!! we lost 16-4 which was a good effort from our boys but ultimately that has cost us dearly. and then for them to give u the points the week after was a little hard to swallow.

Yeah i know you wernt pal, yea know what you mean cuthberts 2nds gave us the game twice at about 1 oclock on the day of the game jst because they wanted to watch the first team play their game! Yeah understand its hard to take but hopefully it wont be happening as much next season
