I think it goes further back than half way through 11/12 NWC.....having said that we didn't lose a game last year and are again showing much better form now we have a few lads back from injury, new faces etc etc, I think we are quite happy to find our feet in 2 and let the leagues sort emselves out over the next few years, which it will.

Be difficult to base seeding on a few wins Shawy with all due respect, on any given day teams can be beaten depending on circumstances on the day. Having said that I think u aswell as many others could argue against allot of the div 1,2,3 placings, with each having valid points. Let's not forget off the field aswell, teams abilitys to sustain both in terms if players and financially.

Not a dig at hindpool mate.

I wouldnt like the job of sortin it out!!

Totally agree mate it must be a hard job and I'm not saying we should be higher than yourselves, Finch or HFH was just wondering how they decided that you three should be above say us Heysham and Ulverston. I'm more miffed that teams like Newton Storm and Chorley Panthers are above us. I'm sure you will agree there is very little between the majority of teams in our league this season and any of 6/7 could be in that higher league

Definitely, I can only assume they have kept the Cumbria sides together due to cost, travelling etc, gotta agree with u re chorley and newton. Our league for me is by far the most competitive based on the last 2/3 years as is NWC1....two very close leagues with the odd few exceptions.

About 10 in total including Irlam, Langworthy, Dalton, Hollinwood, West Bank Swans, Higginshaw, Albert Park and I think Blackpool Scorpions. Cant remember the full list off the top of my head but as far as I know at least 3 of these have made enquiries to join the pennine league so wont be much of a league left next year although the league have said there are teams who are going to give summer a go and if it dosent work out they will come back to winter and also some possible new teams.

Leigh East B and Widnes Tigers make up the 10. Assume Higginshaw and Hollinwood have asked about the Pennine but unsure who else? Dalton won't get many home games in that league and wont have a winter league to enter their reserves assuming the Barrow League switches.

Any team entering from summer would have a hard time catching up fixtures though there is tall of them having teams finish the season with friendlies

Widnes St Maries are talking about entering a 3rd team I think. Dalton have decided to commit suicide and stay winter.
