So when are we likely to see the three from Pia and Russ Aitken?

I don't know much about the French play off system, was wondering now the regular season is over who's playing who and if Pia et al lose is it all over for them, or is there a second chance like in Super league?

Is it Round 1 - first sits out, 2v5 and 3v4 - winners and highest place loser through Round 2 - 4 teams through play each other in some kind of combination - winners through to final Round 3 - final ?

Week 1:
1st sits it out.
Game A: 2 v 3
Game B: 4 v 5 (losers out)

Week 2:
Game C: 1 v winner Game A (winner to final)
Game D: loser Game A v winner of Game B (loser out)

Week 3:
Game E: loser of Game C v winner of Game D (winner to final, loser out)

Week 4, the final:
Winner Game C v winner Game E

Nice diagram on SM Pia Website of how the play-offs work. Watching more french rugby than ever before, but enjoying the content. Ideal scenario for Gateshead would be Carpentras to beat Carcasonne, although I doubt it based on season performances. Then for Pia to lose to Lezignan and then Carpentras; even more improbable. Looking forward to the weekend
