I rushed around doing my chores and then the good lady and I settled down to watch the match.

First half wasn't too bad and Dragons battled well I thought (remembering I am a newbie!). I don't think the refs decision (being discussed in the thread on "Virtual Terrace") affected the game that much but they would have made a difference.

We can concentrate on the league now

saw the lads return to catalonia last night at girona airport. wasn't aware of the score but the long faces gave me a good idea of the outcome. Aske one of the directors for the result and he also tolf me about the game in barcelona

I think Thaler's decisions were spot on or thereabouts. I think his communication was suspect, on both contested ball-steals and also the time he called play-on, then penalised us for tackling.

We weren't going to win the game though, we needed our etrangers to raise their game and they didn't. Losing Elima didn't help.
