On Friday 3 September the Magic Weekend kicks off at Kingston Park Stadium with the BetFred Championship Round 20 match between Newcastle Thunder vs York City Knights. With the stadium less than 20 minutes away from Newcastle city centre via the Tyne & Wear Metro rail system, it’s easy to get to and will be a great way for fans to start their rugby league weekend.
With multiple bars, a great food offering and a party atmosphere generated by the Bavarian Stompers Band pre and post-game it will be a famous Geordie night! The game itself is always a closely fought battle with the reverse fixture earlier in the season decided by just two points.
Book on or before Wednesday 1st September and get tickets at discounted rates (Adults £15/Kids £5). Go to www.thunderrugby.co.uk and to secure tickets.
Award winning hospitality is also available for the game at £50 for adults and £25 for under 16s. Contact helen.scott@newcastle-falcons.co.uk for further details.
