I read a Cas forum and it seems they view him as getting lazy after his latest contract was signed.

Good luck to big Mike and I hope the move can kick start his career. He was the best back rower in super league in 2017 which earned him a big contract that he hasn't lived up to. I think Powell has just lost patience with him but you've done well to get him as it was rumoured he was going to Wire since February. Stay safe and good luck for the re-start.
