It really doesn't seem important right now, to be honest. It's a nice distraction, of course, but you know what I mean yeah?

Absolutely, there's bigger issues for us all to deal with. However, we all need something that takes our minds off the concerns of the present. Having RL to watch, albeit that you cannot attend and shout away some of your frustrations.
