what a clueless post, judging a club on 1 season.
Ok how about 2005 onwards?
2005 - Rubbish and relegated
2006 - backroom staff and management resign
- appointing a coach who cant even pass the fecking coaching course
2007 - shall we be Centurions? Yeah? No? No body knows especially not the fools in charge
2008 - Another coach gone, the similarities to Wigan are growing
2009 - relegated
But no, you're right, Leigh are amazing

what about our 32,000 crowd against Saints in the 50's ?
What the hell kind of relevance does that have to today? Especially considering most of the occupants of Leigh nowadays cant even count to 32,000.

what about your 1,005 against Halifax last season.
Again relevance?
You wanted to take the p1ss out of Celtic's attendance, so I compared Celtic's SL attendance with the last time your attempt at an RL club was in the top flight, you see, its called relevant comparison.

i can search the internet to you know.
Im sure you can. Too much "research" though and you'll eventually lose your eyesight.

you could place Ipswich Jets in sooper dooper league and they could do ok.
i feel sorry for Widnes, not us.
I feel sorry for Widnes too, but any fair minded Widnes or even true RL fan will realise the importance of having a club away from the M62.
Presumably you just enjoy travelling up and down the M62 watching backward old Yorkshire and Lancashire towns battling out cr@p, boring games in front of a dwindling support.
Im assuming the man is alright at Leigh but how's his dog nowadays? I assume they still let him in as a concession?

If we got 'demoted' from Super League we would survive, doubt you lot could.
Yeah you're surviving really well at the moment aren't you? Gonna be lots of space to stretch out in that nice new ground of yours, shame about the team like.
Bradleigh wrote:
That's why you'll be 'stuck' in Super League, till you fold, or relocate to Edinburgh,Dublin, Torquay, whatever.
Already they've done better than Leigh's last attempt in Super League, and just like Catalans did, give them some time they'll be a hell of a lot more competitive and more of a credit to the league and the game than that shower you call a team.

You are in Sooper Dooper League, because as DICK Lewis said, it was "now or never" how very fortunate for you.
I've got used to fulham/london broncos/crusaders/harlequins being around in SL on gates over around 2K, guess i'll get used to Crusaders being 'wherever'.
Actually Harlequins average attendance is just over 3,000, and was still higher than Leigh's the last time they were in SL

I've nothing against CC (honest), it's the non promotion/relegation thing that irritates me.
Then dont slag the club off, its not their fault and they need help not small minded Daily Mailesque bollox directed towards them
Bradleigh wrote:
Might see you in the challenge cup, we'll never get into the 'promised land' we're too near wigan, warrington, saints, salford, etc
Yes you are, there are too many teams too close to each other that cant possibly support a top team.

au revoir. (this is my last troll, for now)
Hmmm, Is it a trolling post or are you just one of those who says something stupid and then when he gets found out falls back on the 'Im a troll' line? If you're not a troll then its worrying there are people like you in our game. If you are a troll its equally worrying that there are people in our game who obviously have no connection to real society and so have to rely on social interaction online. And either way I'll happily argue the point with any old idiot.
By the way trolling is the internet equivalent of a small child picking on a girl that really he likes.
And if the massive great picture in my sig didnt give it away I'm a Leeds fan not a Celtic fan.
