Good win for you, Crusaders.

I hope you manage to get into the playoffs! That would give the flatcappers pause for thought (well, assuming they were capable of thinking, of course!).

Um, no. Pilkingtons is now Japanese and fast pulling out of my fair town.

If you look on the Crusaders board I have been a strong supporter all along. Flatcappers aren't northern English people; they are northern English people who want the game of rugby league to wither and die along the M62.

In some ways making the play offs wouldn't be a good thing. If you make it one year, the fans expect it the next which will make it even harder to reduce the number of aussies in the team for fear of failure.

That's one way of looking at it. Alternatively, it could also inspire the Welsh lads who are showing real potential to aspire to greater things because they will see a club that can actually achieve.
