Low turnout but the atmosphere was superb and we enjoyed a fantastic game of rugby league,

MADDOG. Dafydd James was Gareth Thomas' centre partner when playing for Bridgend Ravens. He was a regular player in the Welsh side, though he was often frustrated because he was versatile and both club and country played him out of his best position, on the wing. He is a 2 time British Lion, but has been overlooked often in his career because he was a wage chaser.

He is also younger and faster than Gareth Thomas and slightly lighter, but has had far less injuries and is heterosexual so Castleford fans will struggle to insult him.

I care not a jot for the Wrexham Crusaders, bjut if they get Daf, that will be ANOTHER jewel in Bridgend's crown that the gogs have swiped. He will be a success

I've read more of the posts on this thread, referring to Daf as a "bum" and "unable to get a Union deal".
Trust me, he would be a League success. He has always been a wage chaser and has POSSIBLY overpriced himself in Union, but even Spongy and the Crusaders dwindling band of fans seem to not think highly of him.
This is precisely why the WRU never bothered in N Wales. They know nothing of the sport.

50 odd caps for wales, 20 odd tries (immense in defence, personally stopping at least 30), try scoring British Lion. Yeah, a RIGHT bum.

He's too good for you even at 34. You don't deserve him.

tell him stay in union then if he can find someone to have him way you describe him surely he`l get a union deal

Absolute rubbish. He's too old. Gareth Thomas hasn't been a success so far and neither would Dafydd James who is nowhere near as talented.

We can produce stats from years gone by all we want, doesn't mean we're interested in signing Gareth Edwards.

Fallacious argument there. The premise does not support the conclusion. Personally I don't give a flying defacate if he signs for you or not. But to call him a donkey / too old / rubbish etc is ridiculous.
