It was changed mainly as Ganson was missing out on finals year in year out despite being considered (by beaks) as the top Ref!

Still don't get why they have the likes of this one when there is no reason too? Finals fair enough and big spotlight on ref etc but normal weekly games not hard to keep aprt is it?

Stupid aint it! I know there meant to be non bias etc etc, but by keeping them apart at least there is no chnace of a 'conspiracy' or giving people reason to moan!

We had ref from Batley against Batley, now surely that 1 aint to hard to split!

I'd be more inclined to sympathise with you if he'd actually given us the benefit of the doubt on anything recently. The truth of the matter is that he hasn't given us any borderline (let alone controversial) decision since he awarded us a penalty try aginst HKR last season, which is when he first incurred the wrath of Justin Morgan.
