It was in the paper on Friday that big Gav was thinking about retirement from RU ....probably not correct though!

I agree...a player like Gavin Henson would go down a storm at Crusaders ... he would raise the games profile by a long mark. Yes I reckon he would be very good at league

apparently he is on indefinite unpaid sick leave

I stand corrected. The story has been resurrected. I know he's been to see us a few times.

Dunno if he wants a run out, but I'd like to see it.

All of these things will make him a cultural icon when his visa runs out and he is sent the way of his great grandparents....alas, not in chains this time.

Big Gav is a decent player.

I can't see him turning to footy, but you never know!!

A cynical person might think it was all a ploy to raise the profile of a flagging potential superstar in his sport......but thats just the thoughts of a cynic

He's only missed about 2 games I think, better than some of our 'fans'.

I'd snap him up straight away, the guy's got quality, he just needs to concentrate on getting fit and playing rugby rather than arguing with his tart in The Roof in Bridgend on weeknights.

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

Just from the stand point of of getting the brand recognised, his signing would be huge.

It'd certainly get the crusaders more than a few colum inches in both local and national press.

Isn't the talk that he could retire from rugby union due to his constant injuries. It would be a massive signing for Crusaders but he might not even get that many games because of his injuries. Though i hope he does convert to RL.

RL is for men, not boys.

Rhinos and Thunder fan.

To be honest I can't see him making a difference on the pitch.

I agree a big name like this will help attract more players/supporters etc, but I reckon he will end up another union player that cowers out from league.

He could be the start of a few big things at the club, I hope so.
