I'd hope we'll have a good crowd for our last match at BF, but since the move to RP, the local Bridgend rag (our usual source of news and special offers) seems to have lost interest in us.

Though I hope otherwise, you should also have plenty of room to move around the ground too :(

Still, if you can get there for 4:30, Quinn, Duggan and Van Dijk (3 of the players screwed by UKBA) are officially opening a new sports bar in the ground, before heading off to pastures new tomorrow. Not seen the new bar, but am told its good.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Most probably , but that is what sport is all about , you all start off level and at the end of the season the top/best team goes up and the bottom/worst team goes down

Then we have RL , where , well perhaps not

Starbug,

No I mean 3 of the players screwed over by UKBA.
Changing a law and applying it retrospectively and, here's the important bit, selectively, ignoring the other RL clubs known to have used the same visas, along with all the other sporting clubs who used it, is dishonest.

Who watches the watchers? Oh I have no doubt our players will win the appeal, but it will be a pyrrhic victory because the whole dirty venture was conceived with the intention of destroying our club. By then it may be too late and we may be gone and your little game can go back in the UK to being a quaint little local custom, played solely around the M62, expansionism will be a dirty word of the past. The rest of the UK will then be free to ignore this minority sport and focus again on Kick 'n' clap. Then perhaps your tiny little club can be a big tadpole in a very small puddle and you'll actually be happy.

I, of course, will be without a sport to watch or support because football's for girls, Union's a tedious cuddle for 15 minutes then kick for 5 game and I'll be blowed if I'll continue watching a sport with such backstabbing and venom spitting trolls as you involved.

If you hate us so much, feel free to puss off to your own tiny patch of little Ingerlund.

The UKBA have not ' screwed over ' anybody , it is their job to make sure that only people who are legtimatley entitled to come here are allowed to

The 6 players should not have been allowed to enter this country , simple as , but they , your club and no doubt the RFL thought it was a risk worth taking

They were right , the risk was worth it , you are now where you all wanted to be , so the risk payed off , the fact you have now been found out is irrelivant

You are now in SL and should stay there , Once again I will repeat I have no Ansgt against you , your players/officials or your club , I hope you prosper

As for the RFL , well thats another story

But if you post rubbish about the subject , it will be argued against
