You can't know what we'd have won without those players who made an admin error.
And it's quite clear they were only "illegal" in 2007.
In the 2008 season their visas were in order so were "legal" when we beat you 3 times in the same season.
That UKBA decided to disproportionately punish them for this 2 years later does not detract from the fact that they were "legal" in 2008 and 2009.
Still, can't expect an unbiased opinion from a Widnes whiner eh?
Tell you what, go get your mates to come troll this thread for a few more days. Since Leigh went down, we've missed Starbug so there is an opening for a new troll.
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

Auditions below please:
You can argue until you are blue in the face that 'Visa Gate' was nothing more than an administrative cock-up, and you'll convince no-one that all six players being here illegally was a simple over-sight. Clearly these six players would not have received Visas for 2008 and 2009 had the UKBA been aware, at the time they were granted, that these players had been playing as professionals while using inappropriate visas for the previous two years. Hence, despite having Visas for this season, they were sent home before the season had ended and are now unable to enter Britain for the next 10 years. Any visas they had over the last two years would be void too. In other words they have been here illegally since they started playing for the Crusaders.
Bragging about this period, when your club has brought the game in to disrepute, will just anger all but the most zealous expansionist RL fans. It's best forgotten for you lot, it really is.
I have no wish to be a troll on your board. I actually hope RL becomes popular in Wales and wish the decent Celtic supporters well. I hope you stay in SL and prosper.

Well we'll not convince YOU with written evidence. But whatever we do would be wrong in your eyes.

Are you the official spokesman for rugby league fans then? It angers you, and several on your board and a few others who troll here. But my personal experience is that most supporters I have met at games think very differently.

Possibly, I'll offer the benefit of the doubt on that one. But you hide it well sometimes.

I take it you don't read the RL press?

Why the hell would I lie?
I'm an anonymous message board user who'll have no come backs no matter what I write here.
What I said was genuine. RL fans in South Wales must be doing it tough enough without dick heads on these boards slagging them off too.

well said grendel. i'm proud of what those lads achieved for us no matter what our rusted on enemies say. the closeness we have with all the players means more to us then the rest of the crap and nothing from widnes whiners will change that.
Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Correct , from season 2005 when the UKBA pulled 13 clubs for using the wrong visa's they changed the rules
So from 2005 onward [ that would be 2006 ] Celtic [ no doubt advised by the RFL ] used the wrong visa's
My point as you well know is Celtic had players on the invalid visa's in both of their promotion seasons
I Have left this subject and your board alone , until a certain poster decided to change history again
What you did was wrong , you did it , probably with the full knowledge and permission of the RFL [ Which is the real problem here , the fact they have condoned it , not that you did it ] , but you are now in SL , should remain in SL , and will eventually become a true SL club with decent local support and a mainly Welsh team
