so their youth set up isn't good?
Don't mis-quote or misrepresent my comments. You know I haven't said that. If you were to trawl this forum in the past (and I'm not suggesting for one moment thats how you should spend your time), you'd find many comments I've made re the crusaders youth set up.
I know how good it is!!!gutterfax wrote:
They didn't promise a state of the art sports stadium and they didn't (playing by the rules as the rfl laid them down) kick cr@p out of most of last years C1 teams? No their fault the UKBA decided to mess with the rules (and I still believe someone from the regions rejected MAY well have tipped off the UKBA anyway...)
Whether that's true or not we shall have to see. Having 6 players deported doesn't look good either way but it's an argument done to death. I don't see why a tip off should effect the legality or the correctness of the situation regardless of the origin of your comment.
FWIW - I still find the RFL's part in that fiasco scanalous.

Also, as someone wisely pointed out on another thread, if the "heartland" clubs had paid more attention to their own houses over the preceeding 100+ years, you wouldn't have this problem. No point crying over spilt milk when it was spilt 50+ years ago!
True. The whole of RL has been repeatedly up poop creek numerous times over the last 50 years. Couldn't agree more. 2 things here. Nowadays only a few are given the 'lifeline' that SL represents. The rest aren't allowed in!!
The other about houses in order. The crusaders club will post some frightening numbers for this fiscal year and but for some timely intervention, were in queer street, Oblivionsville! That particular house was most definately NOT in order!!!
Not so next year I'll give you that. They will be a much stronger and much better financed side next year and the following years numbers should reflect that if the good people of Newport and the province wish to support the club!
