We're not all Southern Softies

Just like to say, I'm impressed with the way your club appear to have dealt with the spitting incident & to wish your club all the best for the future.
I had a great day out on Monday & enjoyed the banter with your fans, so will definately be coming back.
Keep the faith, I'm sure that win is not far away!!

Respect to Harlequins : Wed Apr 15, 2009 10:10 pm
To what I thought would be the 'rar rar clap clap' type of fans like in Union they made a hell of a lot of noise and brought a great following down here to South Wales, and with the action on the pitch in the second half kept the home fans largely subdued ! I can only apologise for the few 'Chav's' that decided to turn up out of curiousity as they are certainly not regular 'fans' of this club or behind what we are trying to achieve here.

I look forward to our visit to the Stoop that we should have had before the season started by which hopefully we will have points on the board.

Ymlaen Y Cru!

£250 to go to all the away games really and how exactly do you get the travel so cheap? of course you are also working on the bare cost of travel and tickets etc. what about the opperutnity costs to us fair weather supporters. i mean should i come to a saturday game i have to miss a shift at work losing the nights pay. as mentioned on the supporters forum by firefly chosing to spend out money on other priorities is not a crime there is more to life than rugby

fair points and more then that as an agency worker i have knocked back shifts offered to me to come and support the crusaders. As it happens if i had been offered a shift the bank holiday just gone i would have got double time, but even offered i would have knocked it back. Doesnt make me a better fan then anyone else and its my choice. I might not be be able to do that later in the season but i have already bought my season ticket and in the end we all do what we can. The bloke who buys his son a shirt but cant afford to travel to more then a few games a season is just as much of a fan as anyone else in my honest opinion.

How long is Ste Tyrer going to stay if all he is doing is playing reserve team games? He can do that at Saint Helens. You have Ballard who was released at the end of last season and then brought back.

Lets start dropping some of these players and even start giving some of the reserves a chance as they cannot do any worse at this time.

It's worth getting players in to share with the reserves, even if they don't play first team.
It could be worth blooding the reserves so that they have a head start next year - following the Cas model. The problem is that Cas has a great tradition of developing players, it's all new to you.

I thought the quins outshouted and outplayed the crusaders yesterday. After what I thought was the worst performance this season, and I thought the Huddersfield one was bad, I have cancelled all my away trips for the rest of the season. I am only watching home games from now on and that is because I have a season ticket.

I don't get to games as it is awkward to walk and even if I had a lift it would be dificult to get around and even more so if there were a big crowd.

Interesting quotes here nc, unless there are two of you do you go to the games or not?
Question for you, I've been to two away games so far and got another three booked so will pay more than £250 for the missus, son and myself to go. Does that make me a better fan? No, just fortunate enough to do nothing else other than have a job that pays well which after paying the bills means I can watch some games away.
Makes me no better than someone who gets to as many games as they can.
Firefly, if I manage any others will I get a golden jersey with super fan on the back? lol
