BOOK INFORMATION
2009 was an historic season for rugby league in Wales. For the first time, a Welsh club side played at the top level of club rugby league, with Celtic Crusaders first dramatic campaign in Super League.
Rugby League has a rich history in Wales. Many famous Welsh players have reached the top in rugby league, and the Welsh team has often challenged the top sides. However, the game has often struggled to establish itself at club level.
This book looks at the game’s development over the last 20 years, from the visit of Wigan and Widnes to Swansea in 1990 which led to the rebirth of the Welsh national team in 1991, to the Celtic Crusaders’ first season in Super League.
It includes:
• The birth and development of Celtic Crusaders
• The Welsh national team’s World Cup campaigns and international matches
• The development of the Wales Rugby League Conference
• The introduction and rise of rugby league at junior levels and schools in Wales
• Interviews with key players, coaches and club officials including Lee Briers, Neil Budworth, Dan Clements, Geraint Davies, James Davies, Simon Davies, Gareth Dean, John Devereux, John Dixon, Tony Duggan, Kevin Ellis, Phil Ford, Iestyn Harris, Aled James, Jordan James, Mark Lennon, Andy Lindley, Gerald McCarthy, David Mills, Justin Morgan, Roger Moore (Blackwood coach not James Bond), Rowland Phillips, Matthew Pritchard, Damien Quinn, Mark Rowley, Michael Ryan, Anthony Seibold, Stuart Singleton, Mark Tattersall, Rhodri Thomas, David Watkins, Ian Watson, Brynmor Williams, Wayne Williams, Dai Young.
Plus there are specially written articles by John Dixon and David Watkins and classic reproduced articles with permission from Anthony Seibold and Simon Davies.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Is there a page for the flatcappers to colour in or perhaps a join the dots for them? If there is a join the dots make sure it's not over 10 dots or they'll get confused. Could put a page in with a map of the uk also, if not enough room just show the bit above the M62 as a full map might confuse them
