Friday Night Lights – Tickets Selling Fast!

7th August 2011
The Rugby League Season is swiftly moving towards its conclusion and one of the highlights is the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final, being played at Wembley Saturday the 27th August, between Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos.

As in previous years London Skolars are delighted to announce that they will once again be hosting their traditional Friday Night Lights event at New River on Friday the 26th August, the eve of the Challenge Cup Final.

The Championship 1 season has been one of the closest for many years and, although Swinton have led the table for much of the season, they haven’t yet secured the automatic promotion spot. Skolars opponents for this year’s Friday Night Lights match are Keighley Cougars, who are still in the hunt for automatic promotion place and will, at the very least secure a place in the play-offs. Skolars have already beaten Keighley at New River this season in a close fought encounter in June and since then Skolars have gone on to chalk up an impressive run of four successive home wins.

Friday Night Lights attracts Rugby League fans from all over the country who are in London for the Challenge Cup weekend and with Skolars ground only 30 minutes away from Central London (17 minutes on the Piccadilly line from Kings Cross to Wood Green) Rugby League fans have an ideal opportunity to enjoy the festivities on offer and take in another professional Rugby League game in the process!

Fans will be able to enjoy Skolars traditional Friday Night Lights Real Ale Festival, before, during and after the main game. In addition there will be a Masters Rugby League Festival taking place on the main pitch before the big game.

Tickets are already selling fast and with capacity limited you are advised to purchase your ticket/tickets in advance to avoid disappointment or queuing!

Tickets for Friday Night Lights are available to purchase online from the Skolars Ticket office priced at £12 for adults and £6 for concessions. To visit the online ticket office just click here

Please note that we have a limited number of Challenge Cup Final Tickets available for only £26 each and these can also be purchased in the Club’s online ticket office.
