Fans to vote for Player Of The Month : Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:21 am
Fans will line up alongside, the League Weekly reporters and Co-operative ‘Good for everyone’ ambassador Paul Sculthorpe to vote for the ‘Player of the Month’ for the 2009 season.

In a novel twist on the familiar, fans will be asked to submit a vote for their player of the month. The votes will be calculated and submitted to the Championship coaching panel along with a nomination from former Great Britain captain Paul Sculthorpe and the League Weekly team.

The Co-operative Championships player of the month will then be decided from these three nominations.

Fans who voted from the winning players club will get an extra bonus as they will be entered into a draw to win 2 free tickets to watch the next game and present the trophy to the winning member of your team!

And that’s not all, as every fan that registers a vote will be entered into a grand prize draw to win a pair of VIP tickets to the grand final at the end of the season courtesy of The Co-operative.

Paul Sculthorpe, The Co-operative’s ‘Good for Everyone’ ambassador, commented: “It’s brilliant that The Co-operative has opened up the voting system to include fans this year. It’ll be hard to pick just one player each month as there’s so much talent in The Co-operative Championships but I look forward to submitting my vote alongside the fans and the League Weekly team to see who comes out on top with the coaches!”

To register your vote for your player of the month, please send your nomination including your name, daytime contact details and favourite team to:
