She carries on through it all......
She's a Waterfall

SHeffield were truly bloody awful. A greasy pitch with fine drizzle all night affected the handling - for both sides. But dear me, that was crapola! Matches against Sheffield I have learned to wince at as we have invariably come unstuck, even when we've dominated a game. But tonight, that was poor. Not what I expected at all.

Worst team to visit POR this season, even worse than Toulouse who we put 90 on

Never seen a completion rate as abysmal, barring the try i cant remember a set of 6 completed

There is very little going forawrd from sheffield if you keep yere and talapapa (sp?) quiet based on that tonight

Good job Finn didnt have his kicking boots on

Think we can change a £20 note to refund your fans, another embarassing away turnout

Just got back after dropping me Mam off in Wingerworth. That was a long night - stayed til the end - don't know why though.

At least Janet Krankie kept us thoroughly entertained and my rendition of "There's only one Jamie Leahy" drew a few laughs.

Fev were good but didn't need to be - I think Gateshead would've beaten us tonight - no disrepect to the Thunder intended.

Worst performance of the season - although we didn't go to Leigh in the NRC - must have been on a par with it.

Shame we didn't get nilled - could've used John Kear's "We were lucky to get Nil".

Having the smaller squad showed - not just missing QLT & Kyle, but Hirsty makes a heck of a difference as well.

As ESO said, don't like to single anyone out, but Ronald is simply nowhere near good enough.

Ah well, at least there's 10 days to hopefully get the injured players back and sort things out.

South Leeds Stadium will be another one ticked off the list for us - Hunslet here we come (I'm bracing myself already).

2012 - It was the year everything changed!

Twitter @DoctorBadvibes

Theres no way of skirting around it or denying it, that was by far our worst performance of the season. Even worse than the trouncing by Leigh in the Thomas The Tank Cup (i dont count that game as we didnt take it seriously).

Our completion rate was non-existent (especially second half) and im not sure there were any real game plan tactics, it was very flat and lacked any spark at all. We tried a few things but every single one failed due to errors.

I give huge credit to Fev, they got their tactics completely right and we never stood a chance, we just shot ourselves in the foot. Fev have a good side there and i hope they win the GF personally.

As usual Mr Leahy was useless, im not blaming him for the defeat but for not keeping a lid on tempers, which then boiled over. No consitency at all in the forward pass decisions. The crowd decided those.

This is a pivotal point of our season, we either implode or we bounce back. Next week at Hunslet will tell us.

Well my 1st visit to Post Office Road wasn't great. Good little RL stadium and with the developments should be even better!

Anyway the game..

That was the worst game I've seen this season. We've never looked like we got out of first gear. to be 6-4 up after 20 minutes was excellent but they continued to pepper our left hand side and got all their points down that wing and we didn't plug the gap.

Like everyone else I'd love to know our completion rate and how many knock ons and foward passes we did. If we cut out these silly foward passes and knock ons we'd be a much better team and put in performances we all know this team can do!

I know Q, Hirst, Wood and Cording were missing & the referee wasn't great but Fev had a few players out too & they had to put up with Mr Leahy too..

Write it off and go to Hunslet next week and get a win!

Thanks to the players for clapping 3 of us when they were warming down too.

Just a point on the away support, yes it wasn't great but why do Eagles fans sit or stand in pockets on their own?

Seen 2 leaving near the hooter and another 4 as I was waiting outside the Clubhouse after the game so must of been around 30 there I think. Need to all try and get together and make some noise!

It was on SKY, on a Thursday and wasn't a nice evening but 30 is still not great for the time it takes to get there.

To be fair, that happens with all teams. You just notice it more with Eagles because there aren't many of them to start with.

The weak conform, the strong survive.

Surprised you didn't do what every other set of supporters do. They go up the steps opposite the turnstyles and then stand there all game.

We were starting to get worried and thought we had velcro terracing there but your handful last night proved that theory wrong!
