You have to admit there has been some terrific rugby during the World Cup - Warrington/Leeds, Wigan/St. Helens, St. Helens/Leeds, Manly Sea Eagles/NZ Warriors. What a golden opportunity to promote RL. What an opportunity missed.

The Super League semis and final were outstanding, I think I can honestly say the final is the best game I've ever had the privilege of attending, certainly as a neutral(ish). Fantastic.

The Super League Final saturday was fantastic,Flattered Leeds with the margin but they deserved it and a great spectacle,Compare it to the England v France game,Im not really a rugby union basher,Each to there own,But god how boring was that game,Anbody who just enjoys rugby surely they find the Super league more entertaining.

I don't think it's been an opportunity missed as I don't think there was an opportunity in the first place. Rugby league, as it often is, has been largely ignored by the media with the press seemingly more interested in Georgia v Romania than Wigan v Saints.

Point well made. However as the RFU is almost in melt down after the latest farce from NZ, one would like to think that the RFL would really go out of it's way to promote itself. Until that is you realise the RFL is as incompetent as the RFU.
