Some discussion over on their forum about them wanting to move the game to Saturday.

They obviously remember the spanking we gave them last time we played there on Good Friday

Ironic after the fuss they made over last season's fixture that now they come to us, flatcap in hand, asking for a favour.

Tell them to get stuffed then.

Personally, when I was arranging fixtures, I always tried to co-operate with other clubs because there's nowt more certain, one day, you'll want a favour off them.

Sounds like politics.



Good Friday is a traditional rugby league game day, and with them being a heartlands traditional club, why do they now want the Saturday?



Ive no problem with either day, just very strange.

Maybe their stadium is already booked .....

Surely it's a bit much to ask for a change of date for that ? After all, Rovers had the opportunity to put their fixture amendments in back in November.
