Yes, because you then set a precedent for a game which does matter.

I dunno why they didn't swap fixtures. Would have been much better for them. Now they're stuck with a midweek game and a blank weekend, cocking up their training pattern. And they're at Don Valley instead of Bramall Lane.

They must have had their reasons but it seems a lose-lose situation for both clubs to me.

And, of course, next time they want a favour .....

Its not the first time Dewsbury have been awkward and unco-operative regarding a fixture.

I agree,Common sense at the start of the season would be to reverse the fixtures,But we cant really go blaming Dewsbury,as much as they were uncoperative its upto us to get a ground sorted to fulfil a fixture and on the date as stated at the start of the season.

Spot on Eagleblade, looks like Mark doesn't want to move the game out of Sheffield, don't blame him to be honest.

Maybe, but this sort of thing happens all the time and not just to us. Most clubs are reasonable about it.
