But not so big over previous seasons. This season they signed Dixon once the season was underway and they stated they had wanted to sign him before but were cap restricted until Beaumont left their club. Then they signed Hock and even with assistance from Salford on payments it does add to suspicions. However,as shown earlier it really doesn't concern me.Paying for top quality for rugby league supporters is to be encouraged. I should add that the RFL only took action against Barrow -Des Johnson- when a player returned to OZ and told his story and Halifax were allowed a few seasons back because they had started recruiting before the cap had been altered.
The most compelling viewpoint I have seen and the most cogent argument ever presented.
Impressive you Leigh followers. After your players have made such an impression with Halifax and Bradford you supporters continue winning friends and influencing people.
Hasn't the cap doubled this season?
Not sure about the Beaumont / Dixon / Hock thing. But Leigh chairman has said we're 25% below the cap. And given I don't know any of the salaries, I'm not in a position to question it. Are you?

I have typed out elsewhere that I ain't bothered. If I was,I may communicate with someone who may not only give a care, but do something about it.
Someone who did breach the salary cap, together with other misdemeanours,at Barrow was banned from RL for 8 years.
He got done for putting money in.
Those at Bradford, and elsewhere, who take money out/take a club into administration/liquidation etc. do not seem to have the same,if any penalty.
I did wonder why but haven't seen, nor do I expect, any transparent answer from the RFL.
If you Leigh lot could now concentrate on your cup final that would be fine and dandy and I can hope, after seeing simulation and feigning injury in the home game prior to your lot arriving in Doncaster with your well-coached antics,I am hoping for a game of skill on Sunday Far Removed From The Common Practice

Thats why the middle 8's for me is a better structure for all. 23 games into a season morale I would say very low if your in the bottom 4 as a SL outfit.Complete reversal of the situation for a Championship side..
To be honest if the structure pans out correctly,it should work better for the championship clubs. How you deal with the extra income from those middle 8 games is what sets your future in SL. Unless of course you have youth coming through,as in stars of the future.
Jury's still out for me. Signs are encouraging but - as you say - much depends on how the clubs deal with it. It's still early days.

You are by far a very cynical poster..And you yourself a very transparent person. As you always within your posts never mention your own team..
Have you ever noticed that?

To be fair, you've got a supporter who reckons no less than 21 of the squad are good enough to play $uperleague.
So no transfer frenzy needed - should you be promoted.
I'm guessing you're refering to moi.
I have actually only got about 13definites if you care to check again, mate.
The others have the word "Just" next to them. Meaning that if we keep that many players that are just good enough for SL, then we'll probably be really up against it more weeks than not.

The Leigh Sports Village looked and sounded great on Saturday afternoon and will be a fitting home for a Super League side and there is a strong possibility, based on Saturday’s performance, that it will host Super League games on a regular basis in 2016. The Centurions will be full of confidence going into the Super 8’s but should they gain promotion their current team will not compete in Super League on a week to week basis. Their management will know they will need to overhaul their current squad if they are to be strong enough to retain a Super League place in the long term.
Still the second full month of the season to be completed.
Thought you lot were all on the Scarlet Turkey....
Even your friends in the media are writing this -
LEIGH WILL NEED TO STRENGTHEN

Wrong word there for me.
But I know what that article is saying in the main. And my thread in our forum says similar too.
