Dewsbury: Not in Sheffield and defeats the point of it being a home game

What about Abbeydale, or the Tigers ground? They host much more competitive fixtures there but don't seem to have been in the running? Abbeydale has a stand, a good clubhouse, a bar?

It also has cricket.



Tigers must have some limitation, because we're not using it for reserves/academy any more.

They are going to open up a field for extra parking apparantly. Hope it doesn't rain.

I have a friend who follows Handsworth Fc,Making great strides in the non league,One of the best academy outside of the pigs and blades,better than Sheffield FC,Im just waiting to here back from him regarding there ground,Just for future reference really,If it would be upto scrath,Play at Olivers Mount,Stone throw away from Don Valley,By the pictures its looks better than spinkhill as a facility,club bar,stands cloe to the pitch,Will keep informed and pass on info,phone numbers etc,if it is doable in future,Sure theyd help us out.

sounds great lee, handsworths ground has a capacity at present of 1,500 with standing and seating plus a great club house that next season will have an extension plus real ales.

We're expecting this problem every year, then ?

Football grounds are re-seeded every year.

But Wigan and Hull FC don't seem to get into the mess that the Eagles do!

Maybe an alternative for the Northern Rail games

instead of Don Valley,Smaller ground,better atmosphere,Just for a change mind you,Because CHANGE IS NOT GOOD!!!! Upto the powers that be really,The option is potentially there.

Maybe because they have long leases at their respective grounds where as Sheffield don't.



Would be good if we signed a long-term deal, say 5 years at the Lane for all league home games, won't happen though..

The ground has passed RFL test but will face another test the morning of the game. I'm guessing they are bring in extra facilities.



Dewsbury have no idea what facilities the ground has and has told their fans to contact the eagles.

What was the place like to play at?
