Not necessarily no, but the performance we turned in shouldn't have been rewarded, half of them must feel like thieves accepting their win "bonus" because they didn't earn it. I knew you'd try and put a positive spin on it though, at the end of the day a win is a win I suppose.

Barrow are not in good form so this is the best time to play them, but like i say, we just need a point to deny them the play-offs and get whoever their coach is this week the sack. But we have to go there looking for the win.

"Playing well" and "being the better side" are two different issues.

Correct, though the fact still stands if we had been playing any other team in the division we'd have lost.

There are 4 pretty poor teams in the league this year, and I think at least 3 of the top 7 are worse than last season. The standard overall is down, and is boosted artificially by the dual reg system, which I don't like but as I said, it does raise the quality of the games.

Does it? I think the standard of the overall entertainment in NL1 this year is the lowest its been.

I think the time is now right to unify NL1 & NL2, with the loss of Widnes and the withdrawal of Toulouse we could make and 18 team single division work. Scrap the NRC as well.
