Few funnier sights than seeing someone have a seagull crap on their head, happened to a bloke stood in front of us at the Barrow-Halifax game this season

Must admit had two friends pooped on both at Bridlington,It is quite funny,Especially when one dived on the chair you was going to sit on The Brid seagulls need some training,Send them to Scarborough.

The roof was removed for safety. The ground, the only one in the Rugby League, totally owned by Barrow Rugby Club, is undergoing major refurbishment with donations and money supplied by the supporters.

The state of the ground is a major discussion point and bone of contention in Barrow but at least they OWN the ground and don't pay rent to anyone and the supporters are trying hard to up grade the standard, which is more than can be said by any other club.

What's wrong with Headingley ?............... simple Leeds Rhinos !!



By the way: it is meant to bring good luck if a seagull gets a direct hit.

My wife should be lucky then - Ilfracombe 2005, sitting on a bench overlooking the harbour. Does the luck last a lifetime? If so why hasn't she won the jackpot on the lottery yet.

It wasn't good luck in 2009 when a seagull scored a direct hit on my shoulder!! A 15 minute walk back to the b and b with the overbearing smell of fishy seagull dump wafting into my nostrils.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrm Featherstone? Owned by the club and being upgraded, 2 stands coming?? A number of acres of land owned by the club as well.

(but as there are no trains on a Sunday, they won't count will they!)

There may be debts secured against the ground / land, but with its current value its nothing to be overly worried about. The current bod wouldn't allow us to slip back into the 'dark days'.
