If it was moved 30-40 mile then forget it but a mile or so over the border
and still the same name then fine,Yorkshire folk are stubborn you know,"I'm not going if its a centimetre outside of Sheffield"

True, but the Eagles have used the Midlands development as part of their justification for being able to run the scholarships and academy.

We could have played the Challenge Cup game in Coventry or Northampton and, with the right marketing, got as many through the gate as we did at DVS.

I dont mind going to Chesterfield/Rotherham/Spinkhill for a one-off, if neither the Lane or DVS are available. But a permenent move is a total no-no for me.

I agree definalty not permanent but i would rather see 2 or 3 games at Chessie,Rotherham as an alternative to Don Valley,Would be an interesting experiment to see,Wonder how the attendances would differ and maybe could entice new supporters as Tim says from the outskirts who then maybe would be prepared to travel to a top class facility at the lane rather than the terrible view and atmosphere of Don Valley.

I was only suggesting the B2Net as a one-off

If you want to get that picky about county boundaries, about a quarter of Sheffield used to be in Derbyshire anyway!

The Bishop's Palace at Meersbrook used to be the original border & that's only a mile or so from Bramall Lane!

Still is. Geography didn't change in 1974. Just the Councils.
