the best team did win on the day. we didnt play well at all. we will be back to our best against docaster though. but well done to you. you really looked very good today. good enough for a good play off finish.

although woodcock is ridiculous with how long he takes to kick goals even the ones that are right in front of the sticks. suprised he hast had a warning about it today.

well done though and good luck for the rest of the season.

I don't think any fax fans thought we were invincible and today certainly proved we are not, it's all about how we react from here.

Well done Eagles, by far the best team today.

Now you have raised the bar we want you to keep it high when you play Barrow, Widnes and Fev, don't just wallow in this one game cos it was us!

Ridiculous statement.

The supporters never thought that Halifax was invicible, just playing very well at the moment. We always knew we had games to loose and Sheffield outplayed us in every department and well deserved the win.

We will loose more games before the end of the season, we just need to win the ones that matter the most.

If you bothered to read the Fax forum you would know they have been asking when the first defeat would come. They knew it was coming but home to Sheffield was probably not the game they thought.

Exactly, very good point. I started a thread about exactly that subject only 2 days before the game (and got lambasted by some on here).

We all knew a season unbeaten was a ridiculous proposition. Eagles outplayed us. But that doesn't turn us into a rubbish team over night.
