Present record is held by Andy Poynter who scored 50th try in his 87th appearance against Keighley on 24th August 2003 at Cougar Park.

FORD JAMES (2005-2008) - 76 games- 48 tries [At one time it was 41 tries in 56 games]

Info from a topic/question posted on the Club Forum in February 2008 on the same subject re speed of scoring 50 tries

But Fordy got sold Surely not Griff,I think 8 games and he should be well near,Has any Eagle scored 100 tries?
Seem to think Daryl Powell got close but i could be wrong.Bet Mtich Stringer cant be far off 50 tries.

He only got 7 tries in his last 20 games as opposed to 41 in the other 56.
