Where is everybody ? its not like that there is no news a good effort at leigh a shock defeat to Whitehaven Disbanding the reserve team

We are already a quarter through the season we have already lost 3 times (last year we lost 6 in the season) with London improving and dark horses Batley getting some excellent results after a very difficult schedule the race for the top 4 will be very close we cant afford to lose against a team that will probably be in the bottom 5

For me the biggest news is disbanding of the youth/reserve team we have an ageing team look at the 2016 top tryscorer list below where are the youngsters going to come from or are we destined to sign ex super league players at the end of their career or youngsters from Super League clubs who did not make the grade we may only have the likes of qlt yere worricy stringer for a couple more seasons

I have not been to any games yet because I work Saturdays and some Friday Nights (No wonder only 500 Turned up on Saturday people are doing other things on a Saturday I presume we could not use the stadium on friday night or Sunday) How are the new signings faring ?

Agree with you about Top 4 finish. What concerns me more is how a full time team can be maintained with gates of around 500 on a ground which is not spectator friendly. IMO if we do not move to the Olympic Legacy Park next season then I fear for the future of the club.

As for the Whitehaven match, they played like full timers, Eagles played like part timers with the inevitable result

Another thought if we dont finish in the top 4 can we afford to be a full time club next season ?

Whitehaven didn't want to come on Friday night and the RFL sided with them.

Which is fair enough for a part-time team.

Fair Enough so why could we not play on Sunday ? In Football Season 3pm on a Saturday is Financial madness we will never get a big attendance

I am also concerned about the financial implications if we do not get into the top four plus attendances.

Still does not feel or play like a team yet so still optimistic that we will improve.

Stadium probably booked up on Sunday.

Here's where the twelves and eights hurts .....

At the beginning of the season, the stadium is booked up by soccer teams. At the end of the season, it's booked up again, because our fixture list for the eights doesn't come out till August.

In all honesty, duggs, how many fans do you think we lost ?
