How is Dean Widders going? : Thu May 07, 2009 11:30 pm
Hi, Just wondering how Dean is going at the Tigers. Havent heard much of him since he came over.
Was going down hill playing for Norths and Souths last season so thought he might have picked his game up over in the UK.

I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.

Started off slowly, bit out of shape and condition, improving as the season goes on, just coming back from injury.

The reason being that I thought he was given a rough deal at Souths and had plently to prove to people after signing with the Tigers.

Agree that fitness is what lets him down, however the more game time he is given the better player he will become for you. Very good with the ball.

Getting better with every game, just a pity his injury came when it did, hopefully he will be back in the squad against the Whino's on Friday, I think his turn of pace is the thing that has surprised us (an the opposition) more than anything.
