Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2021!

Avignon for Championship in 2021, Super League in 2022!

Sonny Bill Williams defeated South African Francois Botha narrowly on points, despite nearly being knocked out in the last round. It was a 10 round heavyweight match held in Brisbane.

This win may lead SBW to think that he has a future in heavyweight boxing, and give up rugby league at the end of 2013 to concentrate on boxing. Some had argued before the fight that this would happen if SBW won.

That would would be a big mistake in my opinion, since SBW is not going to be a world champion in boxing, but he can achieve a lot more in rugby league and in the 7s at the 2016 Olympics.

His fights are not taken seriously.
They are just money grabs against mugs and burnt out bums.
Boxing officials should not let a 44 year old has been fight any more.

SBW would do well to stick to Rugby of whatever version. The fight was supposed to be over 12 rounds but they declared him the winner after 10!!!. Botha would have knocked him out if it had gone the full 12.

Yep, was quite a joke. I expect to hear a lot more about this.
