Could be because the amount of fans they bring down here, They're probably the best supported team in the league

True, 800 of their fans all travelling in a 4 seater car told me they are the best supported team too

Other than he plays for us and is now in his second season back, why is DB having a testimonial, is it something to do with when he played for shudds?.

I always thought testimonials was given to players that showed loyalty and service to the club now it seems they can be given away

So did I, that's why I thought it might have something to do with shudds as in both stints here he would not have qualified, not that I've a problem with it either way, good luck to him.
