Oh well, there’s always next year lol…..
But on serious note, what a tie. At home at least gives us a real boost. Should be a great game if best players are not suspended on both sides.

It's an unlucky draw.
We're not at Saints level.

But if we get knocked out, pressure is on league position.
5th should be the target.
I don't think we will finish above Wigan, Saints, Cats or Wire.
But we should be aiming to finish above Leigh and HKR.

If we are in the bottom half after 12 games, Smith could be in trouble.

The club and board have backed him with the cash to buy in the playing staff of his choice and Mr Hethrington said last year he was disappointed with results cup and league so that is my basis of post

Interesting one this week. Good to see some attacking flair last week but ultimately we ran out of ideas and energy. Do we disregard what saints did well and simply try replicate last week's effort for longer, or will smith try and implement a few new tactics designed to test more than saints' scrambling defence?

I think I'd prefer a slow start and a strong finish to the game, to the strong start before going out with a whimper.

However, based on last year's cup run, I think they should be well motivated. Execution in the moment will be key, they were only one pass away from a good win this stage last year.

Not been on the anti Frawley bandwagon, but he has been awful tonight snd last week.
Give Jack Sinfield a run at Cas next week
