The club have announced on X that due to a critical water supply issue the home game against Donny on Sunday 7th April has now been moved to Donny. Noticed YW working on the junction of the ground last week. Wonder if it's related.

Nothing to do with Yorkshire Water by the sound of things.
More to do with the main contractor for Stadium, is it Morgan Siddall?
Any way Trinity are in talks with the builders / contractors,to rectify the problem.

I'll be out of the country in September Sounds as though it's outside the control of the club though.

Wakefield AFC have home games scheduled for tomorrow and April 6th so hope they're aware too.

I can't believe the amount of Wakey fans asking on social media "if they can use their season tickets at Doncaster?"

It’s because they are new to the sport and don’t know. Bandwagon fans are great I have no issue, but don’t expect much nouse from them, and don’t expect them to hang around if things get rough.

It is actually to do with YW. In that it will require their involvement. The problem however is Morgan Sidall’s. From what I gather they have underestimated the demand for water on match days and will need to upgrade the system. Not especially expensive or difficult just takes time.

It’s a big problem when upgrading a very old stadium and problems like this will unfortunately occur.

It will be the same on the west terrace, it won’t go smoothly, might find a WW2 bomb for all we know
