Thud!
Back to earth and no doubt planning the summer marketing campaign for the Stoop and wherever it is we will play Castleford.
i wonder will the £5 ticket deal stretch to TW2 Towers and/or how many £5 Srixon Balls will be lost at Dave and his Mates golf gala.....i seem to remember the 2002 golf day being full to capacity....i wonder how many IMG bods will be there to witness fan interaction?

Very solid first three minutes I thought. Not sure the tactic of wearing them out by allowing them to score repeatedly over a 10 minute period has any future. Suggest we don’t try that again.
First half a total embarrassment. Their off loads and speed were way,way too much for us. Second half a miracle anyone stayed but we did. They kept trying but that’s getting to be not enough. On balance I’m pleased I stayed but only just.
If things couldn’t get any worse it appears Miloudi has eyes in being our goal kicker. I don’t see that going well but I suppose one player letting points go is as good as another.
This xxxxing season. What a load of old pony.

Club have gone on about us having a presence in Kent the past few years , so we’ve played at Ebbsfleet a couple of times. However it’s been suggested that the ground wouldn’t be suitable for SL - so if the club wants to keep a Kentish presence have they been in touch with Gillingham?
We’ve played there in the past ( a defeat to Hull and an absolute pasting by Wire I recall ) so should be up to SL standards.

Full disclosure- I live in Kent and it’s nice to have a home game in the season that’s easy to get to  !

I’m hoping we focus on having a bit more presence in our defensive line!

As bad as things are, doubt we should be looking to play in the land of the worlds last surviving Neanderthals.

This came up in a pub quiz:

What was more porous, the Maginot Line or the Bronco's defensive line?

Answers on a postcard to David Hughes

Knife through butter wasnt it. On the plus side, fan favourite J Meadows is back next week so should stiffen up that defence.

He was missed, if only because Maloudi isn't a scrum half. Still he is French, which would have explained the hopping from one leg to the other & going nowhere.
