poor performance i agree folks, but its the 1st game long way to go and lets keep that in mind before we start predicting a 14th position finish!!!!

Having seen Salford, Celtic (twice) and Harlequins - the 3 teams I thought we had a fair shout of finishing above - I'd say we looked the worst of the lot.

However, lets just put this down to a bad day at the office and see where we stand after 6 more games (breaking the season down roughly into quarters)!

exactly. end of the day yesterday was the first game of SL for some of our lads, we had somewhere around 8 new faces. Defended well but you cannot expect free flowing moves from players that have only just got to know each others names

Having also seen Celtic twice I don't think they would have come close to scoring a try on yesterday's track. That being the case I reserve judgement on Salford until like for like comparison is possible - probably after next weekend when they're at Wakey or definitely the following week at the Jungle.

Why worry about results you cant be relegated just concentrate on bringing through all your junior imports to enhance the game
