So Cas won't be up for it? Wanting to make amends for a poor first home game and on the back of a good win against Wigan, yeah, I can see them struggling for motivation.

Jog on.
DIDN'T SAY CAS WOULDN'T BE UP FOR IT and i didn't think they played poorly against quins. think the only difference in that game was an idiotic pass from sargent in his own 20, and luke dorn. don't think cas played that bad actually. is jog on suppose to be a fashionable remark then?

Disco - Expansion of the game is a good thing, undoubtedly, but in the main what people simply want to assert is that you don't kill the roots to spread the tree.

The Curtism - The battles are fought on the field and the friends are made in the bar. There's no hatred among real men.

EFC - In Martinez We Trust

I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.

Sorry, but I disagree, Ratchford is a different type to Thackray, better vision/awareness/composure and his kicking game is infinitely better. I've been very surprised to see him excluded from the 17 but will be happy for that to continue this weekend as he strikes me as the sort who could undo us with a totally unexpected play.

I concur, Ratchford looks every inch a potential SL player. To bin him at this stage id ridiculous even for Birstalltiger.

It's just as daft as over hyping Westerman at that stage in his career.

That said I suspect Ratchford won't be quite in the same class as Westerman, but it's only a guess - who knows.

Salford 19 man squad:
Fitzpatrick, Wilshere, Henry, Talau, Smith, Myler, Cashmere, Alker, Stapleton, Sibbit, Parker, Swain, Turner, Littler, Leuluai, Paul, Ratchford, Adamson, Nash

Myler has been struggling this week with Flu so Birstaltiger might get to eat those poorly chosen words......

I'd expect Cas to beat them by about 20 in all honesty. Salford look very poor in the backs, Henry on the wing was shocking. Whilst they made a mini comeback in the second halve you have to remember at that point Wakefield were playing with Tony Martin and Jason Demetriou in the halves with Drew absolutely knackered.

Castleford have a much more settled squad at this time in the year and won't take the foot of the gas as Wakefield did at half time. Salford seemed to struggle with the pace of the game early on which is why their forwards were so poor. Second halve they had more ball and were much more effective.

Salford will take time to get use to SL and unfortunately will suffer some hammerings, but that is often the case with the new boys. Cas by 20+
