Much more of an attacking threat with hall in the halves can't help thinking we should be keeping him. Hope we manage to offload keating and maybe a uturn and give Caro a year

Interesting discussion on the radio on sunday, Keating needs to play with a leader on the pitch & Burns is full of effort & desire but is not a team player. Cas had the same trouble with Chase & look how they have gone without him. Remember Burns was not all that great playing with Dobson, Keating may play a better game with a diferent partner? Whoever comes in the club needs to get it right, I would not be bothered to loose Burns or Keating but with the franchise system gone we can not afford to take a gamble on a young prospect & build for a long term future so it will in all probability be a gamble on an Aussie.

Omari Caro plays well when there is very little pressure around him. Against good defenses he seems to freeze and looks lost. It takes him 1 second to decide what to do and by that time he is caught out. Just doesn't look like he has th bottle to power his way through defenders.

I agree with his sometimes slow reaction times but feel that he runs hard from dummy half and could be used to take pressure off the forwards.

Hopefully Omari Caro isn't lost to the game, it's sad but typical of English RL that here is a 23 yo with size and pace albeit still very raw in terms of Rugby League nous is not persevered with.
Instead clubs are always willing to risk 2nd rate overseas players who don't come cheap, take Mantallato for example, if he couldn't kick he would be playing for Wyong.

Caro has shown glimpses and I think there was a case for giving him another year. He was a late starter in the sport, so I think his case is a tiny bit different, but speaking generally, 23 is not that young to be still be having to 'persevere'. Kids like Hallett (18/19), fair enough but I do think we're actually pretty forgiving of young homegrown players and willing to stretch the definition of 'young'. Our YPOTY was James Green who turns 24 at the end of November if Wiki is to believed. I've seen at least one post suggesting that 'young' Marc Sneyd might require patience at Hull FC - he turns 24 early next year. Plenty of time in front of him, but hardly a kid anymore.

Be interesting to see where Caro ends up. Top end tier 2 club would be my guess - and tbh he might be better playing regularly there, rather than signing with a SL team and potentially spending much of the year on dual-reg at the third level.

Ultimately, the decision to let Caro leave can't be seen as good or bad until we see how the replacement backs perform next season. 14 tries in 12 games would suggest he has got something worth persevering with.

Well Craig Hall shouldn't be playing after what he said midweek about having mixed feelings playing against the team he's joining and hoping for a draw somebody should tell him he still a rovers player and were still paying his wages with a mindset like that good riddance

I thought Hall completely ran the show, and played us of the park along with Burns and Hodgson yesterday, must be slightly worrying to be losing all 3.

I thought Jordan Cox was brilliant in his spells, definitely one you need to keep hold of.

Hodgson is the only 1 we will miss. Hall is a 1 good game in 5 player, Burns hasn't played well for 2 months since his mate got the sack.

Cough and splatter nearly choked on my cuppa tea. That is hilarious. Your knowledge of Wyong Rugby League is of the highest quality you should be a comedian. More over Benny Hill here comes The Eclipse. Bahahahahahahahahaha
