Albert Kelly Song : Wed Jan 21, 2015 9:12 pm
I'm not a Rovers fan, but after hearing this song on the radio this morning, the chorus is crying out Albert Kelly
The song is The King of Rock & Roll by Prefab Sprout - Hot Dog Jumping Frog Albert Kelly (Albuquerque)

Shoot me down if you wish, it's only a suggestion! :SHOOT:

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

I like it.

I want to see a picture of him eating a hot dog, but not one of those rolling things that you see at t'pictures that I imagine are full of e coli, a nice one from a Noo Yoik street vendor or from my local farm shop, which will be more of a sausage sandwich (Bolster Moor Farm Shop, marvellous) so maybe not that and a picture of him dressed as a frog, that can't be too hard, everyone's dressed up as a frog at some time haven't they? My granddad used to, he used to wear a frog costume and my Uncle Jim used to wear a toad costume when he and Aunty Audrey (lovely cook, school cook, superb spotted dick, terrible asthma, died young) came over from Colne to play whist.

Incidentally, eating in the cinema should never be allowed, I've lost count of the times I've had to threaten pensioners with a panga to stop sucking on their Werther's Originals prior the start of the fillem, they shouldn't be allowed (the pensioners) in shops at lunch time either, I would have magnetic implantants put in them with gates with the opposite polarity in the shops so they can't get in.

I can't read the original post because I can't take my eyes off his avatar - it's strangely hypnotic.

These NRL players are not used to having songs about them sung at games. You will boost their performances if you come up with some winning ditties.

I think this is funnier than you originally thought. Has to be done.
