The cost of bringing someone in this late in the season is pretty low as they're likely sat kicking their heels in the stands so will come for less, you might get some contribution from their previous club plus it's only a 3 month contract not 12

When you look at the loan signings made by the clubs will they really make that much difference other than add another body to there squad some seem to sign players for the sake of it

Somethings not right at the club, most of the other middle 8 teams are strengthening, Salford somehow just fitted 2 NRL players under there cap, Leeds got Segeyaro, London got Soward, Leigh have added a couple, Chisholm to Bradford, Ogelsby to the giants.

We get David Thompson, wtf

Leeds lost Hardaker though, Luke Robinson retired early on in the season at Hudds, and it is difficult to keep track at Salford. Until next year the rules are different in the Championship, plus they can wait and see a bit more, backloading their spending.

The big problem is campeses contract as to get him under the cap last season he was only paid a third of it with the other two thirds added onto this seasons cap so it's a massive chunk for a player that isn't playing

Not quite true. Last season was a 1 year contract, and was heavily subsidised by Canberra Raiders, possibly to the tune of $200,000 Aus. His 2016 (and beyond) contract cost Rovers a hell of a lot more, but it's not a back loaded deal.

Either way, it was a massive, failed gamble. Someone should be held to account.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

We all know who's to blame.

Staples, for sourcing a particular person a particular brand of typewriter ribbon.

I am worried that we have not got any loan signings that will make a differance to our side, but we can't sign quota players so they have to be fedaration players & are there any that we would want, or who would want to come? Luke Burgess is the type of player we need but he has gone to Salford, otherwise we might as well use our youth players as they will at least be enthusiastic.

Demanding loan signings via deregistering various players ignores one simple possibility. The possibility that we have a fixed budget with salary payments committed and no extra money.

I don't agree with Peacock getting into fan arguments on Twitter either telling them "wind your neck in" "your mouthing off on here" "Do you think I set the prices". The board should focus on the only goal that matters ie staying up and not stoop to this sort of comment however frustrated they are. Roll on September and a chance to regroup after our worst season in Super League.

When you say our worse season in super league yes it is but when you look at leeds and huds and were they finished last season we did not do to Bad it only needed certain players to have stayed fit and not cost so much and i do believe we would have been at least 6th

Jesus, talk about classless. Club owners/directors/officials really should stay off twitter if they can't control themselves. He's practically offering fans out for daring to question what's going on at the club
