Good call by those who predicted the numbers for these two. Looking forward to see how Hedges goes on in that position.

The 2/3 pairing looks very weak for me.
They will be targetted.
Although Whelam is a good tackler for someone as far through as a chip.

Squad numbers dont mean much nowadays
Connor Bower may get the chance at right centre.Yound lad but very good defence

Appreciate that ... I meant if they happened to play the two as a pair.
Neither are very big.
I think size in the winger or centre or both is important.

This is my main reason for not reading too much into the squad numbers

I'd also expect at least some of the hull loan quartet to be regulars

I wouldn't swap martin and tali for anyone other wing and centre in our league.
