Here are the games and my predictions:

Toulouse vs Sheffield
Barrow vs Leigh
London vs Featherstone
Rochdale vs Dewsbury
Swinton vs Batley
Halifax vs Toronto


Match of the round is obviously London vs Featherstone.

Half-arsed Halifax (Eddie Waring would've loved that) are a score down against Tame Toronto.
Looks like someone's doing something right at Barrow; they're tied with Leigh.
Landan has done for Fev already, it seems.

Toronto down 6-4 at h/t, look to have to many mid level champ players judging by their performances so far.

London (+8), York (+10) and Halifax (+16) was easy money today. The handicappers haven’t quite got to grips with RL outside Super League so there’s cash to be had.

Lowly Leigh cannot beat little brittle Barrow -- a side that was in League 1 last year! And yet the lowly Leythers still dream of returning to Super League?

Lowly Leigh have spent an absolute fortune buying top grade players like Ben Crooks (Hull FC andCastleford!), Peter Mata'utia (Newcastle Knights!), Bodene Thompson (NZ Warriors!), Harrison Hansen (Wigan!), Daniel Mortimer (Gold Coast Titans!), Larne Patrick (Huddersfield and Castleford!) and Kevin Larroyer (Hull KR!), and yet they fail to defeat a team of unknowns from little brittle Barrow!

Face up to it Leythers, the only teams with a chance of promotion to Super League are tremendous Toronto, terrific Toulouse and lovable London.

It seems that maybe....just maybe after 3 seasons, London Broncos have realised that you don't win games in the second tier by trying to play SL style Rugby League. 3 Games in and top of the League with a very healthy +/- and a second top of the table clash next week to really test their credentials (and those of the mercenaries from Manchester....sorry, Canada

It would be great for lovable London to get promoted at the end of this season, though I would like to see terrific Toulouse and tremendous Toronto also promoted. But that cannot happen.

So I will settle for any one or two of those three going up, and silly Salford or witless Widnes, or both, going down.
