Grix said earlier, when he took over from RM, that should he get the job permanently he would give up playing. Please with his appointment.

I have to say I feel a little underwhelmed at the 'media' announcement.

While at this time it is good to have Simon Grix at the helm, he has shown what this team are capable of, and with a every thing going forward top five looks lot more possible at present. Scott Murrel looks a different player too.
However the way 'Fax built the event I was mulling the possibility a major sponsor was also in the wings, a real money man/woman/ company announcement to throw the required amount of money to make full time and a real tilt at Super League.

Now for Batley and beyond, 'Up the 'Fax' 'get into them'.

Beaujangles you are a wit !!!! I wonder who leaked it to sky, did not think they knew about Fax.

Do have to say Marshall did not come across well on the Sunday,no sky guest appearances on the horizon for him.

If the BOD don't say anything, they are garbage. If they keep the fans up to date they are still garbage.

New assistant coach muzza
Muzza moving to the commercial dept when he retires from playing.
Mr Haggerty moving from commercial to finance.
If there are things going on in the background, that is where they need to stay until something concrete happens.

Everyone at the meeting seemed to be pleased with the outcome.
Of course we would like a rich person to step in and get us full time and back into SL.

I'm sure things are going in the right direction.
