Agree Myler is so overrated, even though plenty don't rate him at all. His overall game is mediocre at best, his kicking game especially is cringe-worthy and his passing isn't far behind that imo. Miller's been a far better player for a number of years.
He was great as a young player but never moved on, even at 36 Brough has more left.
If money no object then I would sign Myler if he is surplus to requirements at Leeds , I also like Callum Mclelland who is a class act, on loan from Leeds at Fev and if given an opportunity to play SL every week will prove to be top top player, sadly Leeds will not let him go. There is also Chisholm at Fev who would do a great job. The problem with these three is that they will not play as back up, despite Miller having a very poor season he always gets selected so you would not see that changing. The player we might like to look at as cover, if as we presume that Brough and Miller are untouchable would be Matty Wildie, can play 6.7 and 9, would not break the bank and is a player that always gives 100 %
Money is an object with Myler as I wouldn't pay him a penny. Chisolm not for me.
Wouldn't touch Myler with a Castleford barge-pole....there's a reason why Wire, Catalans and now Leeds are moving him on...'cos he's carp !!!! Definitely like the look of McLelland and now the Whino's have signed Gale, maybe they will let him go ?? Also think Chisolm is quality and could be a good fit for us, or would be ok with Williams coming back as he had a good start at the Raiders and seems to have improved on his previous Trin days ??

Don't think they would let him go but they might loan him to us for a season as he will possibly get some game time with us.

If you believe the story that Hampshire was offered 60k and the offer was still on the table a week or so ago then that money is available in which case I would hope that Myler should we sign him would receive nothing like that amount. So I'd chuffing hope he's more than affordable at his age, or there is something really wrong with our game.

Not sure on which game myler has played stands out on some people wanting him at wakey. At least Brough would get the haters off his back
Only seen Myler play live once this season in the home match at BV, wet conditions , close game. He was superb in that game, he managed the Leeds team perfectly, had an understanding of how to play the conditions, kicked us to death and if is wasn't man of the match he should have been as every aspect of his game was first class. He is an intelligent player, he is brave and his defense is absolutely outstanding. In the TV games I watched he was superb. Once Agar got Leeds organised Myler was able to lead the team around the pitch. He was always well regarded as a very good support player but in my opinion he is much much more than that, I am not saying he has the natural ability of Hampshire but I think he would be a great player for us. For starters he would improve our points against stats.

Really? This last season he missed 100 tackles and made 435, even old Broughy made 352 and missed 74.
Not that I'd be buying a half on how good he can tackle anyway.
